Fraud Tips

E-Mail and Internet related fraudulent schemes, such as "phishing" (pronounced "fishing"), are being perpetrated with increasing frequency, creativity and intensity.  Phishing involves the use of seemingly legitimate e-mail messages and Internet Web sites to deceive consumers into disclosing sensitive information, such as bank account information, Social Security numbers, debit and credit card numbers and codes, passwords and personal identification numbers (PIN's).  Please click on the links below for more information on how to protect yourself and your sensitive information.  And remember that American Savings Bank will NEVER e-mail or call you asking to update any sensitive information.  If you receive a phone call or an e-mail looking like it is from American Savings Bank asking for personal information, please forward it to: customerinquiries@asbportsmouth.com
